The form on this page has six fields, and one of them is hidden from you because it is there to catch machines. It opens with an empty box instead of a menu. You write three sentences about what you want. We read them and write back, in ordinary sentences, within one working day.
Why the empty box sits at the top and the choosers sit under it
Fill this in whenever it suits you: the form takes a request at any hour, so you can request a trip quote 24/7 without waiting for a door to open. The first field is an empty box. Nothing is chosen for you in it and no menu sits behind it. You write, in your own words, what you are after.
The rest of this site is built out of questions, and that is deliberate: three of them take thirty-two weeks down to four. Questions work well while you are reading. They work badly once you have decided to write to somebody, because every set of tick boxes decides in advance which parts of your answer are allowed to matter. So the box comes first and everything else comes after it.
Most requests that are any use to us run to about three sentences of plain description. Not a specification. Not a list of requirements with headings. Three sentences a person would say out loud.
Under the box there are two choosers, one for which week or which shortlist you are asking about, and one for roughly when. Then your name. Then an email address. Six fields in all, and the sixth is hidden from you: it exists to catch automated submissions, and a person never meets it.
Four things worth putting in three sentences
Who is going. Two of you, or four, or three adults and a nine year old, or one person who would rather not eat alone every night as well. Ages matter more than headcount once the days involve walking.
Roughly when. A month is plenty. A season is plenty. If the dates are set by somebody else, a wedding, a term, a shift pattern, say so, because that decides which of the thirty-two weeks can be offered at all.
What you want the days to feel like. People leave this out, and it is the part we lean on hardest. Moving every second day, or one room for the whole week. A town you can walk into after dinner, or no town within an hour of the door. Quiet bought at the cost of comfort, or comfort bought at the cost of quiet.
Anything that is not negotiable. A ground floor bed. No early starts. A real ceiling on the price per person. Somebody in the party who cannot manage stairs. A date in the middle of the week that has to stay where it is. Fixed things are more useful to us than preferences, because they rule weeks out fast and save both sides an exchange.
What the form leaves out, and why that is the point
There is no telephone field. No card field either, and no passport details, no date of birth, no home address. The site has no checkout anywhere on it and could not take a payment if you wanted it to. Money changes hands later, with the supplier, once a reservation is confirmed.
A request that asks for less is a request that can be answered without a call. That is the whole reason for the shape of it. Give us three sentences and an email address, and the work can be done in writing, in one go, at the point in the day when we are looking at the weeks rather than at a telephone.

What comes back, and how long it takes
Requests are answered within one working day. The answer is written, and it comes in ordinary sentences: which weeks fit what you described, what each one starts at per person, and the honest number that every week on this site carries, one to four, saying how much of it you could have arranged without us.
Where that number is a one, we say so. It means the week is yours to put together in an afternoon, and some people read it, go and do exactly that. Others reserve through us anyway, and the supplier pays the commission. We are not paid by the traveler, which is why the number can be printed at all.
Sending the form reserves nothing. It holds nothing, reserves no room and no seat, and costs nothing. No card details are collected at any point, on this page or anywhere else on the site. What you write here commits you to nothing, and neither does the answer that comes back.
Ask about a week you found on the flat list of all thirty-two. A shortlist the three questions handed you is just as good a starting point. You can also write about something that is not in the catalog at all, a country we do not show or a shape of week we do not offer, and you will get a straight answer about whether it is something this office can do. Sometimes it is not. We do not sell insurance, we do not advise on visas and we do not touch passports, and those three are permanent refusals rather than gaps waiting to be filled. Questions that come back every week
I do not know the dates yet. Is it worth writing?
Yes. The chooser for roughly when takes a month or a season, and plenty of requests arrive with neither. Say what you do know: school holidays, a fortnight some time after harvest, any week that is not August. We can work back from a shape and tell you which of the thirty-two weeks sit inside it.
Will somebody telephone me?
Not unless you ask. The written answer is the default, because it can carry the dates, the starting price per person and the honest number in a form you can keep. If you would rather speak, write that in the box and we will call you instead.
What happens if you cannot arrange what I ask for?
You get told plainly, inside the same one working day. Sometimes the answer is that the thing exists but not through this office. Sometimes it is that you could arrange it yourself without much trouble, in which case we say that too. A refusal costs you an email and nothing else.
